A welcoming, mountain-style auberge consisting of three character buildings in a sleepy farming hamlet set at 3400ft above the Cère Valley – one of the most scenic parts of the Auvergne.
ROOMS
25 bedrooms in total. Some of those located in the main building (no lift) have been enlarged or renovated with individual décor in bright colours, while the more spacious twin rooms, some with terrace, are in the newer Clos (this part offers 3* accommodation), built in traditional style 300 yards up the lane.
RESTAURANT
Recognised by Michelin for excellent value, the patron’s Auvergnat specialities attract a strong local following. Guests wishing to upgrade and dine à la carte may do so in the hotel restaurant on request, otherwise a daily-changing menu without choice is included, served at the Clos.
IN THE AREA
Majestic Puy Mary and le Plomb du Cantal, the highest peaks of the area. The delightful town of Salers, built entirely in the local volcanic stone.
