The 2003 renovation of this 17th-century farmhouse shows particular care in the retention of exposed stonework and beams in keeping with Périgordin style. All fixtures and fittings are brand new and of an excellent quality. The living areas are spacious and attractively arranged with solid wooden furnishings in keeping with the simple, rustic charm of the building itself. Outside, the property is set in some 25 acres on a private, wooded hillside in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne. The large terrace which surrounds the pool (with built-in barbecue) offers an ideal, completely secluded place in which to relax and enjoy the peace of this delightful location. Children will appreciate the property’s table tennis, grassy areas and swings, while the unspoilt location makes this a haven for those in search of rural tranquillity.
