Price includes: your chosen property on a rental-only basis from 1700 hrs on the Saturday of arrival to 1000 hrs on the Saturday of departure.
Arrival must be by 2000 hrs.
Also included: bedlinen (sheets changed weekly); household linen (towels and tea-towels); gas for cooking, electricity; central heating.
Pets not accepted.
There are steps up and down into rooms throughout the house.

Any other price related conditions
A breakage deposit of 125€ is payable in cash upon arrival. This will be returned on the morning of departure (less charges for items not included in the price), provided there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owner may, at their discretion, make a minimum deduction of 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Chez Maubrun is a 4-bedroomed farmhouse, sleeping 10 (+ baby), in a rural location. near the small village of Edon (Charente), 2.5km W of Larochebeaucourt-et-Argentine, 6.5km E of Villebois-Lavalette, 28km miles SE of Angoulême, 58km NNW of Périgueux (Michelin map 521/524). A detached farmhouse, in a secluded rural setting, built in 1850 and recently refurbished. The interior of this 19th-century farmhouse retains many of its period features, with exposed stonework, beamed ceilings, an open fireplace and original floor tiles in the sitting room. The recently fitted kitchen and the children’s bedroom are contemporary in style whereas the rest of this comfortable, well-equipped cottage has retained its considerable rustic charm. Native trees and shrubs surround the garden of nearly an acre, ensuring privacy and tranquillity, particularly at the pool (10m x 5m – depth 1m40) which stands at the bottom of the garden. Children will love playing hide and seek in the spacious grounds while parents can relax on the terraces or in the shade of the numerous fruit trees (pick your own when in season!). The friendly British owner is based locally and is on hand to welcome visitors and provide assistance during the letting season. For those that can tear themselves away from this privileged setting, visits in the area include ancient Bergerac and its vineyards, the mediaeval bastide of Beaumont and France’s great prehistoric caves at Lascaux and Les Eyzies.
