With arguably one of the finest positions on the French Mediterranean coast, this exceptional hotel overlooks an idyllic, unspoilt bay. Protected to the east by a wooded headland, the hotel is situated just a short walk from the beach in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers breathtaking views from its well-marked, coastal footpaths.
ROOMS
With an emphasis on comfort and tranquillity rather than space and modern, lavish appointments, the air-conditioned rooms are split between the first floor of the original building (served by a lift) with wonderful views of the sea, and the more recently-added adjacent wings, where rooms are mostly at ground-floor level with terraces overlooking the well-tended, gently-sloping garden.
RESTAURANT
Overlooking the swimming pool with uninterrupted sea views, a daily-changing menu with choice is served on the terrace in fine weather, with an emphasis on Mediterranean-style cuisine.
IN THE AREA
The picturesque hill villages of Ramatuelle and Gassin. Saint-Tropez with its lovely harbour and terrific Saturday market. Wonderful walking on the headland and boat trips to the offshore islands.
