At the end of a 5km-long track through the maquis, the hotel U Capu Biancu at Santa Manza near Bonifacio enjoys one of the most wonderful locations in southern Corsica, with memorable sea views over the gulf of Santa Manza. This is a friendly, professionally-run hotel providing excellent standards in an outstanding location.
This lovely hotel stands on a limestone headland from which a steepish footpath leads down to a virtually private beach. The trump card for U Capu Biancu has to be its peaceful isolation, thanks to the narrow access road (unmade in places) that links it to the outside world. The bedrooms are on two levels and enjoy lovely sea or garden views from their terrace/balcony. Those allocated to VFB are superior, air-conditioned rooms, strikingly decorated and furnished to a good standard, with facilities including hairdryer, minibar, safe and TV. Half board includes a daily-changing menu (free choice available from the carte at a supplement).
