Any other price related conditions
A breakage deposit of 100€ is payable upon arrival. This will be returned in full if there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owners may, at their discretion, deduct 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Electricity is not included and must be paid for on departure.
L'Evasion is a 2-bedroomed cottage, sleeping 4, in a residential area, 2km from the centre of St-Jean-de-Monts (Vendée), 50km SW of Nantes (Michelin map: 517). VFB is delighted to have featured this property since 1991. Saturday arrival.

A modern, semi-detached house, in a pleasant residential neighbourhood near the sea, only a stone’s throw from the long sandy beach of bustling St-Jean-de-Monts, one of the most popular spots along this stretch of the Atlantic coast. Set in a delightful enclosed, lawned garden (100m x 40m) with pretty flowerbeds, terrace, summerhouse and ornamental fish pond, the property enjoys a very good degree of privacy despite being attached to a second property (not let by VFB) with its own outlook to the road, whose tenant keeps a few belongings in the second garage at the bottom of the garden. The interior is airy, well kept and homely, providing comfortable accommodation furnished in rustic style, ideal for the needs of family seaside holidays where the emphasis is on outdoor living. Recommended for its location within walking distance of the sea and its various attractions, from windsurfing to crabbing, and visits further afield to Noirmoutier or the Ile d’Yeu. The owners, who are retired, live in Cholet but have a holiday home near St-Jean-de-Monts. They are very friendly and will personally welcome their visitors.
