Price includes: your chosen property on a rental-only basis from 1700 hours on the Saturday of arrival to 1000 hours on the Saturday of departure.
Arrival must be by 2000 hours.
Also included: bedlinen (sheets changed weekly); gas for cooking.

A breakage deposit of 100€ is payable upon arrival. This will be returned in full if there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owners may, at their discretion, deduct 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Household linen is available and chargeable. One set costs 20€ for two people and 5€ for each additional person. One hand towel, one bath towel and one flannel per person, plus two tea towels and two kitchen towels per booking will be provided. Extra sets are not available.
Electricity (radiator in each room) is not included and must be paid for on departure.
La Petite Maison Verte is a 2-bedroomed cottage, sleeping 4, on the edge of the village of St-Michel-en-l’Herm (Vendée), 15km SW of Luçon - 46km NNW of La Rochelle. Sea at 6km (Michelin map: 521). VFB are delighted to have featured this property since 1995. Saturday arrival.
This single-storey, detached house is an appealing holiday home (built in 1981) tucked away off a quiet lane in an attractive village, a short drive from the coast. The bright and uncluttered accommodation of a good overall standard, is simply but comfortably furnished and, being easy to maintain, is ideal for a small family. Outside, from the seclusion of the south-facing terrace (approx. 5m x 3m), only roof tops are in view above the conifers and fruit trees which provide welcome shade in and around the long, grassy garden. The setting is peaceful and fairly private (the nearest neighbour, who also keeps a key to the property, is some 60m away) whilst essential shops and amenities are within a few minutes’ walk. The owner, a nurse, lives 30km away in Villedoux. She speaks some English and will personally welcome visitors. An excellent base for visits to good beaches, the surrounding patchwork waterways and nature reserves of the Marais Poitevin and, within a comfortable drive, the historic port of la Rochelle – all the ingredients for the perfect family holiday.
