Price includes: your chosen property on a rental-only basis from 1700 hrs on the Saturday of arrival to 1000 hrs on the Saturday of departure.
Arrival must be by 2000 hrs.
Also included: bedlinen (sheets changed weekly); household linen (towels and tea-towels); gas for cooking; electricity.

Any other price related conditions
A breakage deposit of 125€ is payable in cash upon arrival. This will be returned on the morning of departure (less charges for items not included in the price), provided there have been no breakages and the property is left in good order. The owner may, at their discretion, make a minimum deduction of 50€ from the deposit if the property is not left in good order.
Logs available for the wood-burning stove at the rate of 10€ per day.

Very comfortable and beautifully renovated, this 17th-century self-contained wing of the owners’ converted farmhouse is stylish and elegant with very good quality fixtures and fittings. Inside, the property is neat and cosy; original features of exposed stonework and beamed ceilings adding character to the otherwise contemporary interior. The open-plan living/dining room has been refitted with a mixture of modern and antique furniture whilst the light and airy bedroom is decorated in a stylish blue and white colour scheme. Set in a peaceful location, outdoor living includes a gravelled terrace (screened off from the owners’ terrace), a tranquil sizeable garden (3860m²), from which guests can appreciate the glorious views of the surrounding countryside, and an 8.1m x 4.3m raised pool (depth 1.30 m), shared with the friendly English owners, who generally use the pool only when guests are out for the day. Guests are welcome to wander around the large garden and to relax in the shade of one of the many trees in the grassy area at the back of the property. Daily excursions include waymarked trails, riding, fishing and swimming lakes all within 15km; château and hot springs at Jonzac; tastings of pineau and cognac; St Emilion and Médoc vineyards and day trips to Bordeaux and Atlantic beaches (Royan and Lacanau, via ferry). A charming, comfortable cottage set in gently rolling farmland in the heart of Pineau country.
